Thanks to the use of high-quality parts, the lifespan of a Nordic Fire stove is much longer. That is why we also offer an extensive warranty scheme. This allows you to enjoy your fireplace for a long time without any worries with a standard 2-year warranty.

What can you do in the event of a malfunction or problem with your stove?

Despite all the care in the production of the Nordic Fire fireplaces, it can happen that something does not function properly. In that case, please contact your dealer or installer. In most cases, your dealer or installer will solve the problem immediately.

Your dealer or installer can contact Nordic Fire for advice or the (subsequent) delivery of parts. If this falls within the warranty period, the parts are covered by your warranty. Your dealer can charge costs for the hours worked.

   Our warranty conditions:

Nordic Fire guarantees that the appliance to which the guarantee certificate refers to has been manufactured with the utmost care and of proper material.

 2-year warranty

New pellet stoves come standard with a 2-year warranty. Our stoves are also CE-approved for all Euro countries.

The following parts are covered by the warranty:

  • Smoke ventilator
  • Room ventilator (convection fan)
  • Quatz glowing plug
  • Gear motor
  • Gear
  • Motherboard
  • Wiring in the pellet stove
  • Pressure switch
  • Temperature protection sensor
  • K-probe

However, some parts are excluded from the warranty. Those are listed below:

The remote control

This remote control is covered by a 6 month warranty. A remote control will normally not fail quickly. However, a remote control is subject to knocks and drops and therefore has a limited warranty period.

Working hours
The replacement of a warranty part by the dealer or installer can be calculated. This is arranged in consultation with the dealer. The part is covered by the warranty.

Glass
A glass pane will not crack due to normal use. The glass can withstand peak stress of 1200 degrees. Glass can only crack by knocking or slamming the door of the stove. If this unfortunately happens to you, you can submit this to your insurance company. They will reimburse this in most cases.

Consequential damage
For example, discoloration due to the deposition of dust or damage to furniture due to heat radiation. Minimum distances to combustible materials are indicated. It is important that you observe these.

Wear parts
Wear parts include all parts that wear out or become worn out during normal use. This concerns the vermiculite, the burner tray and the sealing cord.

Sound
The Nordic Fire pellet stoves are very quiet compared to other brands. However, parts in the pellet stove can cause noise. This is a normal phenomenon and can possibly be remedied by cleaning or greasing the engines during normal maintenance.

It is important for you to keep in mind that the stove is regularly maintained. This is important to maintain the warranty. Please note the following:

  • The pellet stove must be installed by a Nordic Fire dealer / installer.
  • The pellet stove should be cleaned every year or sooner if the stove is used for more than 2200 hours per year.
  • The chimney should be cleaned at least once a year.
  • Only pellets with an EN+a1 approval and light in color may be used.
  • Pellets that are not tested can contain too much dust or do not always contain the right types of wood, which can cause poor combustion or damage.
  • Parameters may not be changed by the user. without consultation with the installer (or employees of Nordic Fire bv).
  • The device must not be treated roughly or damaged.
  • The warranty is invalidated by incorrect use (including use contrary to the instructions or the installation manual and other than normal use).
  • The warranty expires in the event of damage resulting from external factors. Some examples are: water damage, fire damage and lightning.
  • Dust in pellets and incorrect pellets can be disastrous for your pellet stove. Dust can cause major problems and lead to fire.
  • It is important to use the correct pellets and to remove dust from the stove as much as possible. (Check the reservoir, auger and all flue gas ducts regularly)
  • A pellet stove must always be connected to an grounded socket.

Pellet stoves are intended as additional heating. The seller is not liable for compensation for consequential damage, damage, direct or indirect, to persons or goods caused by or in connection with the pellet stove. Should such liability nevertheless exist on the basis of mandatory law, the seller is under no circumstances obliged to pay compensation of a higher amount than the seller can recover from its insurers with regard to the damage for which he is held liable.
